Finally we can get to teaching the swing. First of all the most important part is the posture which is the basis for the whole golf swing.

James teaches us how a goalkeeper stance, when ready to save a football, is exactly how a golfer should stand. This is probably the easiest method of getting this across to a junior.

He sticks his chest out, has his feet shoulder-width apart, has a good deal of leg flex, and sticks his backside out. All this components are vital when learning how to swing a golf club.

Get the youngster to try the pose then ask them to bring their hands together before giving them a club. That's the basis of the swing.
