What is the Shot Scope Pro LX+ Rangefinder all about?
This golf rangefinder stands out in the market because of the impressive statistical service that it offers. The H4 add-on and the plug-n-play club tags work together to track data from your game.
Before each shot, you can connect the club tags by pushing them into the top of your club grip. You then tap this on to the screen of the H4 add-on which will then buzz.
Now, you're good to go and you can access the data on the Shot Scope app, much like you can when using the Shot Scope V3 watch. This shot-tracking feature is rarely found in other golf rangefinders.
The H4 add-on is very practical. It can be stuck on to the rangefinder itself or on your golf bag or even on your belt. It is a versatile rangefinder which also has other qualities. The design of the item makes it easy to use with the thumb grip.
The H4 add-on has a clear display which shows distances to the front, middle and back of the green. Although this feature isn't vital to the golf rangefinder, it is useful when you are faced with different pin positions.
We were really pleased with the colour settings of the scope. You can customise the display to red or black and each colour stands out against different backgrounds and landscapes.
This colour display helps with the accuracy of the yardages, but when compared to a golf rangefinder such as the Bushnell Tour V5, it isn't as accurate and this can become slightly time-consuming when seeking the exact yardage.
Nonetheless, this golf rangefinder has 7x magnification and it also comes with 36,000 pre-loaded golf courses. This is extremely useful if you enjoy visiting different golf clubs as a non-member.
We found other features impressive such as the 900-yard range pick-up. This golf rangefinder also has target-lock detection which informed us when the yardage was locked in.
In terms of game improvement, the Shot Scope Pro LX+ Golf Rangefinder is superb. The H4 add-on, when paired with the club tags, offers you the chance to dive deep into your game.
It is a unique golf rangefinder that pairs a standard distance-measuring scope with a GPS device which also gives you yardages to the front, middle and back of the green.
The red and black optics are another good feature which we found to be a key selling point. It makes the scope clear and is clearly distinctive compared to back ground landscapes.
The design is solid and although it isn't as accurate as the Bushnell Tour V5 golf rangefinder, there is so much packed into this rangefinder which will benefit your game.
