Just checking in after a busy summer of golf, golf and a little more golf!
It’s been an action packed summer with some big highlights and some more challenging moments, but every day I’m learning more about my game and myself as a person. So for me it's all positive.
I was delighted to record my second professional win this summer on the Alps Tour winning in a three man play off. Nothing beats the feeling of winning and it was fantastic to enter the winners circle again.
I actually had the chance to win again the following week, however this time I was not so lucky in the play off!
A win and a second place in successive weeks felt really good though and it feels like my hard work during the off season is helping me record some solid scores. The Alps Tour has some terrific golfers competing week in week out so it’s a great test for your game.
My Challenge Tour record this year has not quite been as positive but it’s been a real learning curve. I’ve missed the cut on a few occasions by a single stroke which is always very hard to take. However, this was my first full year as a professional golfer and so I'm happy to take the speed bumps in my stride as I build towards the 2019 season.

Some big news for me over the summer was signing with GolfPoser. This is an online retail shop that sells all the top golf clothing brands including all the latest Galvin Green range. I can't thank the GolfPoser team enough for supporting me, it's this kind of support that allows young professionals to compete.
It's also been a big summer for my clothing sponsor Galvin Green who launched their new EDGE range - a line that puts performance first but ensures that it has that extra 'edge' in terms of design. The fit and range is incredible and I feel very lucky to wear this clothing. It goes to show Galvin do more than just the best wet suits!

I've just recently competed in the Northern Ireland Open on the Challenge Tour hosted by my management company Modest! Golf.
The event is run exactly like a European Tour event with grandstands and hospitality on the 18th hole, with crowds that would match any normal Tour event. It was a great week and it was good fun to attend the players party on the Tuesday night - sponsored by Galvin Green - to not only launch the event but also acknowledge the launch of the EDGE range.
I can't wait to compete in the event next year - a tournament that will also see the first Ladies European Tour event return to Ireland in six years. The event will run alongside the men's event and will be first of its kind in Europe.
That’s all from me now. I have a run of events on the Alps Tour now and am looking forward to continuing to work hard and get better every day.
