PGA Tour to CLASH with LIV Golf at Augusta | How much are Masters Tickets?!

The countdown to the most eagerly-anticipated Masters Tournaments of all time is underway with less than 100 days to go until the first major of the year at famed Augusta National.

Why exactly is the 2023 Masters going to be such a blockbuster you ask?

Well news recently emerged at Augusta National that all eligible LIV Golf players will be allowed to compete at The Masters from April 6-9.

It means the tournament will see the PGA Tour's finest clash with the LIV Golf's finest for the first time since the 150th Open Championship at St Andrews.

That week saw Cameron Smith oust Rory McIlroy to the Claret Jug, shortly before accepting a huge pay day to join the Saudi-backed LIV Golf Tour.

In total as we stand, 16 LIV Golf players will tee it up at Augusta National.

Such players include the likes of former Masters champions Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed and Sergio Garcia.

Smith will be there too, as well as Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka to name three more.

Here's a look at the list of players to have already qualfiied for The Masters in 2023.

Tiger Woods, providing his fitness levels maintain, will be in the field as he seeks to slip on a record-tying sixth green jacket.

Jack Nicklaus, who remains one of the honorary starters alongside Gary Player and Tom Watson, is the tournament record holder.

Fancy attending The Masters in person?

If you have the money to splash during this difficult cost-of-living crisis, you will need to stump up $450 for a weekly pass to the 2023 Masters.

That equates to around £375

Then you have to weigh up your travel arrangements and accomodation on top of all that, which let's face it, will not be cheap.

The latest ticket prices were revealed on Twitter earlier today by executive editor for The Aiken Standard, John Boyette.

The weekly ticket pass for the 2023 Masters is up $75 on the 2022 Masters, which was memorably won by Scottie Scheffler

As is tradition for the current Masters champion to host the Champions Dinner on the eve of the tournament, Scheffler has told the media he is planning to sit LIV Golf's Bubba Watson (a two-time Masters champion) on his own
