DP World Tour pro Ryan Fox has revealed he was prepared to snub LIV Golf after confirming the breakaway tour expressed an interest in his services.
The Kiwi has been in quite simply blistering form in 2022. He finished second behind Rory McIlroy in the DP World Tour Rankings in November.
Fox grabbed his first win of the calendar year at the Ras Al Khaimah Classic. Since then, the 35-year-old has been on an absolute tear.
Arguably, he could have won more. Fox might admit that he probably should have.

He finished T-2 at the Soudal Open, third at the BMW International Open in Germany and also finished third at the Irish Open.
Fox grabbed his second victory at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St. Andrews and finished runner up to an emotional Tommy Fleetwood at the Nedbank Golf Challenge.
His total earnings in 2021/2022 on the DP World Tour totalled €3,365,304.74.
Fox told Stuff that he would sum up his season as being "surreal".
He also revealed that he had an expression of interest from the LIV Golf League, commissioned by Greg Norman.
Fox said that even if there was an offer he simply would've had to turn it down, given the opportunities he has going into 2023.
The top 10 players in the Race to Dubai Rankings in Partnership with Rolex this season will earn full playing rights on the PGA Tour.
Fox clearly has this on his mind. He previously thought this "dream" had slipped through his fingers.
He told the publication:
Fox already has 12 starts lined up on the PGA Tour in 2023, including the four majors.

Fox said that he can't wait to get his invite to the 2023 Masters in the post.
He joked that he's only played Augusta National on Xbox.
Fox also said he harbours no ill will to Trevor Immelman, who left him out of the International Presidents Cup side.
